Status
This April, staff presented their recommendation for the Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) to Metro’s Planning and Programming Committee and the Executive Management Committee. The Board members directed staff to return to the full Metro Board of Directors (Board) meeting on May 23, 2024. At this meeting, the Board will vote to select the LPA to define the Proposed Project for the C Line Extension in the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR). Please check the Metro website the week of May 20th to confirm the posting of this agenda item at this link.
To learn more about the Hybrid Alternative studied in the Draft EIR, we’ve put together a video explanation here: English and Spanish.
Metro completed a Draft EIR in January 2023 that evaluated three alignments. The Draft EIR Executive Summary is available here, and all of the Draft EIR Files are here.
