Metro’s Customer Experience team is asking riders for their honest opinion.
Every year, we survey thousands of riders to get to know you.
We received over 10,000 responses.
Who We Surveyed
To make sure our surveys are representative, we look at response rates by different categories.
By Age
A majority of our riders are between 25-64 years old.
By Gender
Our riders are slightly more male than female.
By Ethnicity
A majority of our riders are Latino.
By Yearly Income
89% of bus riders and 72% of rail riders make a household income less than $50,000.
How You Ride
Our customers were loyal, even through the pandemic, with a majority of bus and rail customers riding for 3 years or longer and at least 3 days per week. Most of these riders do not have access to a car.
How You Pay
A majority of riders are using the TAP Card more than Cash or Apps
